6 auction we have purchased from in 2 years, this one was nothing like advertised and major defects wernt picked up on the description, like half a exhaust, half the seatbelts were missing, battery not big enough to start the vehicle, brake line broken so near to no brakes, wheels were 1 and two mm tread. All this and report said drivable and tyres are good.Emailed stating these faults and more and had a email from the admin stating I would get a call shortly. 2 weeks and still nothing. Very bad service which is disappointing since we had brought through them before

The absolute worst experience after someone crashed into my car. It was over a 2 month process. The tow truck company further damaged my car and got away with it- I got no update calls in regards to where my car was and only for it to be written off due to the further damage.This was extremely stressful and has left me in a bad mental state.

I bought a car at salvage auction that was advertised as an automatic, as I needed the transmission to fix another car. You can't inspect the cars before purchase (at the moment anyway). When it arrived, it was a manual. I enquired as to getting a refund, plus the cost of towing. I was offered a refund of the purchase price only, which was going to leave me $120 out of pocket for the towing. I would have thought they could tell the difference between an auto and a manual, but unfortunately not.

I rate them zero. Nearly 2 months now and nothing been done. Who actually sorts out your claim .worst insurance company can't wait to get rid of them. Hope they read these comments and take it on board .

Went there today. Nice clean toilet facilites and the two staff we spoke to were nice.

I recently made a repair claim, the claim process was stress-free and easy. Car repaired and back like new. Cheers Phillip

We bought a car impact damage

Wow what has happened to Shannons. I have 6 cars insured with them never had to call them but when I had it was always answered nice and quickly, service was always great. I have been on hold for over an hour now, they have robot asking you questions that can't understand anything. They have gone to the dogs. Amazing fantastic company now just like any other. Well back to RAC I go they seems to have people you can still talk to.

There are traps in the agreement and not responsible for clients! They can hung up your phone call if they do not want to take the responsibilities.

So disappointed in Shannon's. They are NOT interested in people... they only care about money.My car was written off. The overseas call centre was a nightmare. Agreed value was less than half of replacement.Do NOT trust Shannon's.
