The absolute worst experience after someone crashed into my car. It was over a 2 month process. The tow truck company further damaged my car and got away with it- I got no update calls in regards to where my car was and only for it to be written off due to the further damage.This was extremely stressful and has left me in a bad mental state.

I rate them zero. Nearly 2 months now and nothing been done. Who actually sorts out your claim .worst insurance company can't wait to get rid of them. Hope they read these comments and take it on board .

Wow what has happened to Shannons. I have 6 cars insured with them never had to call them but when I had it was always answered nice and quickly, service was always great. I have been on hold for over an hour now, they have robot asking you questions that can't understand anything. They have gone to the dogs. Amazing fantastic company now just like any other. Well back to RAC I go they seems to have people you can still talk to.

So disappointed in Shannon's. They are NOT interested in people... they only care about money.My car was written off. The overseas call centre was a nightmare. Agreed value was less than half of replacement.Do NOT trust Shannon's.

I was having issues insuring my hilux surf and made a call to Shannons regarding the issue. I was pleasantly greeted by Ezra and she provided me with amazing service and a good quote for my vehicle. Absolutely impressed and glad I switched to Shannons.

SNOBBED OFF, Got recommended by a family member that has multiple policies with them. I decided to give them a call and got asked a few questions. To cut a long story short I was told I was not eligible for insurance becasue I don't own a Sunday Car" or a car im working on as well. I have a second car it's just not in my name and the car I was trying to insure was brand new.Was quite a shock and almost embarrassing for myself. I Wouldn't want anyone else to go through that.From what I've heard they are good service though my interaction was far from pleasurable couldn't rate them worse."

The insurance is good if you have a classic or special vehicle .But trying to talk to someone on the phone is really difficult leave you on hold for ever . They where good at one time what's happened to your customer service people ???

I have a few bikes new and old insured with Shannons.So today I call them to add a bike I am rebuilding with a view to getting it back on the road by the end of the year.Now, a 50 year old bike can be a can of worms, as there are many who do dodgy mods". But there are also many factory sanctioned upgrades of which mine has many. I have had the bike (74 model) since 94

I am an existing customer and wanted a quote on my next car but have spent over an hour on the phone over the last 3 days trying to get a quote but have not got to speak to anyone or been able to get a quote. Very disappointed! might have to take my business elsewhere...
